Westfield vs. Long Hill Under the Lights

1st Inning
Tyler Roth starts the evening off with a solid double. Rowan follows with another double. Steven B gets an RBI and brings Tyler home, with the first run of the game. Parker then gets a single and brings Rowan home. Owen Murray smacks one and brings Parker home.Owen Colwell brings Owen Murray in with another double. George gets up and advances Cowell to third. Lin brings in Owen and the score is 5 Zip at the end of our first ups. Dan C has a line drive right to the pitcher . A very exciting first inning with tons of hits, they really had the bats working.

Owen Murray starts off pitching and does a tremendous job..Tyler has snags an amazing "over the back shoulder" catch at short-stop. One run comes in from a walk and Justin and Colwell both have good catches.

End of the 1st- 5-1 Westfield

2nd Inning
Justin Lankler starts off the inning with a nice "swinging bunt" and runs it out strong to be safe at first. 3rd Base coach(no names) gets a little "firey" because the runner stealing didn't slide :) Micheal J has a nice hit and advances Lankler. Owen B. rips it , for a great Double. No ones seems to be listening to the 3rd base coach..............another run comes in:) Now it's 7-1 .

Westfield holds them and at the end of the 2nd Inning, Owen M is pitching a " " Way to go Owen!

3rd Inning
Owen Murray gets on first and steals around to third. George smacks it ends on First with that huge smile on his face. Justin Lin hits one to bring Owen M. in. Nice Inning 8-1

Westfield holds them again and now I can say it....Owen M pitched a three inning "no hitter"!

4th Inning
1,2,3...we are up and we are out!

Justin Lin comes in to pitch.....Long Hill gets one back, Dan C has a great catch. Quick Inning 8-2

5th Inning
Tyler gets on First, he drives a bomber thru the second baseman, he steals 2nd. A "girl" on 3rd catches Rowens' Pop Fly(sorry, Rowan...it was a girl:) George brings in Tyler and it's a 9-2 Ballgame.

Parker catches a Foul Fly ball while on 3rd!

6th Inning
Colwell on 3rd, Justin gets walked...10-2 Justin gets caught up stealing home and they tag him out.

Bottom of the 6th

Tyler comes in to close it up or out(not sure of the lingo) Steven snags one for the first out. Then Owen for the 2nd out. Looking for one more........... 1,2,3......WE WIN..........10-2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
